Equipment

  • Slow Cooker/Crock Pot: A 4-6 quart size with low/high settings is ideal.
  • Slow Cooker Liners: Optional for easy cleanup.
  • Measuring Spoons: For measuring seasonings.
  • Mixing Bowl: For combining the soup.
  • Whisk or Spoon: For mixing.
  • Meat Thermometer: To check doneness.
  • Tongs: For placing and removing pork chops.
  • Slotted Spoon: For serving.

Ingredients

  • Pork Chops: 4-6 boneless or bone-in
  • Ranch Seasoning Mix: 1 packet
  • Cream of Chicken Soup: 1 can 10.5 oz
  • Cream of Mushroom Soup: 1 can 10.5 oz
  • Optional Seasonings: Garlic powder onion powder, black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • Prepare Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray or use a liner for easier cleanup.
  • Place Pork Chops: Arrange the pork chops in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker. They can overlap slightly.
  • Season Pork Chops: Sprinkle ranch seasoning mix evenly over both sides of each pork chop. Pat gently for better seasoning absorption.
  • Combine Soup Mixtures: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup and cream of mushroom soup. Mix well.
  • Add Soup Mixture: Pour the soup mixture over the seasoned pork chops without stirring; let it settle on top.
  • Set Cooking Time: Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours. Opt for LOW for more tender results.
  • Check Doneness: Likeness to fork-tender and an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). If testing without a thermometer, ensure meat pulls apart easily.
  • Serve: Use a slotted spoon or tongs to remove pork chops and spoon gravy over before serving.

Notes

Substitutions: For cream soups, consider using low-sodium versions or substitute with creamy alternatives that you prefer.
Add Vegetables: For a fuller meal, you can add potatoes, carrots, or onions at the bottom of the slow cooker before the pork.
Storage: Leftover pork chops can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
